Earlier
this year, one of our Board members, Kuthula Matshazi, was a guest on
the Immigrant Talk Show on Rogers TV, hosted by Vivian
Mthenjwa
. He eloquently
discused the
role of ethnic community organizations in integrating their
members into the Canadian society.
His discussion and the Support Group's contribution to the community will be
recognised at the 2012 Immigrant
Talk Show Awards 2012 on Friday November 2nd at 6:00 pm at Paradise
Banquet Hall, 7601 Jane St, Concord. It is described as a ceremony to
celebrate the positive contribution of Immigrants, service providers
and other outstanding contributors to the immigrant communities.
