2012 Happy New Year Message

Happy New Year everyone!  In 2011, we supported each other and celebrated together as a strong and vibrant Zimbabwe community here in Canada. As we start 2012, we remain united, with a great hope for Zimbabweans in Canada. The opportunities to thrive as a community are brighter than ever. The sky is the limit!

As we celebrate the start of the New Year, 2012, we also remember those members of our Zimbabwe community who are no longer with us. Those who passed away in 2011 and their surviving relatives remain in our thoughts and prayers. We also thank God for all those who faced personal challenges of any kind and were able to overcome.  
In 2012, your community support group is committed to developing a stronger partnership with you to achieve even greater unity and success, promote and uphold our Zimbabwean culture, support further interaction and communication, and celebrate our achievements together as a community.

In order to better understand your needs and priorities, we will be sending out a short survey in the next few weeks, requesting your feedback on specific issues, programs and services that you would like us to concentrate on. This is designed to promote and develop a community-focused agenda for the year for the organization.

We appreciate your participation and feedback in advance as we strive to build a strong, credible and effective community support group for Zimbabweans in Canada.
